Scheduling a Reservation

Attention Customers – Effective Saturday, January 6, 2024

Starting Saturday, January 6, 2024, RRTA will no longer be taking calls for Red Rose Access services on Saturdays and Sundays.  Office hours will continue to be 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Please call our office during the weekdays to schedule reservations.  If a customer needs to cancel a trip or check a ride on Saturdays or Sundays or during non-business hours, please call Easton Coach at 717-396-1001, Option #2 for Dispatch.

ADA Trips
On Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays, if a customer requires an ADA trip for the next business day (pick-up & drop-off addresses must be within 3/4 miles of the regular RRTA Bus Routes) they can call and leave a message from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 717-291-1243 to schedule an ADA trip.  Any messages left prior to 8 a.m. or after 4:30 p.m. will not be scheduled.  Messages will be checked Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays at 4:35 p.m.

Customers are required to leave the following information:

Name
Date of Birth
Complete addresses for origin and destination
Appointment time & return time

If all the required information is not left in the message, the trip will not be booked for Monday.

Saturday 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. EFFECTIVE SATURDAY, JANUARY 6, 2024 No Red Rose Access Customer Service phone hours on Saturdays.

For individuals who are hearing impaired, RRTA encourages customers to use the PA Relay Service.  The service can be accessed by calling 711, free of charge.

Trips must be scheduled at least one day in advance. Customers can call up to two weeks before their appointment to reserve a ride.  Transportation is generally available Monday through Friday, the earliest is 4:50 a.m. to the latest 11:10 p.m.  Saturday the earliest is 5:40 a.m. to 11:10 p.m.  Sunday the earliest is 7:15 a.m. to the latest 7:15 p.m. for trips where the pick-up address and destination are located within 3/4 miles of the fixed-route bus service.  Also, Monday through Friday transportation is available to travel 10 miles outside the county borders of Lancaster and Berks.  Please check with the office for the availability of days and times based on where you would like to travel.  All “Out of County” trips must be scheduled by 5:30 pm a minimum of two days prior to the appointment, not including Saturdays and Sundays.

Trips may be scheduled up to 14 days in advance. Recurring trips may also be scheduled on a “standing order” basis. A “standing order” would allow your trip to be automatically scheduled each week without further notice to RRTA.

We ask that you be ready early and wait at the exact address used when scheduling your trip. The driver may only wait 5 minutes for you. Your promptness and consideration for other customers is greatly appreciated.
