New Schedules and Fares Start on Monday, August 30, 2010

New Schedules are available on-line to view. New Ride Guides will be available starting Monday, August 16, 2010 on all RRTA buses.
RRTA aproved the route and schedule changes at its May Board Meeting that was held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010. The approved changes were presented in order to keep RRTA"s budget balanced due to ridership revenue shortfalls and the instability of state and federal funding. The approved changes will go into effect Monday, August 30, 2010.
RRTA also approved a fare increase to take effect on August 30, 2010. All fare zones will increase $0.10. 10 Ride Passes will increase $0.50 and 31 Day Passes will increase $1.00.

No Service on Labor Day
No bus sevice will be provided Labor Day, Monday, September 6, 2010. RRTA Offices will be closed on Labor Day. Full bus service and regular office hours will resume Tuesday, September 6, 2010.
Red Rose Access Shared Ride Service will not be provided on Labor Day. Full shared-ride service will resume on Tuesday, September 8, 2010.

Dump the Pump was held on Thursday, June 17, 2010. RRTA joined other transit systems nationwide to encourage everyone to take transit to save money, conserve gasoline and help reduce greenhouse gases. The day was sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).

Pennsylvania's Transportation Funding Crisis
The tolling of Interstate 80 was expected to fund PA's transportation needs. Without it, the promise of PA's 2007 transportation funding law (Act 44) will not be fulfilled, leaving public transit systems without a secure, reliable funding source. Click here for more information.

Back Gate CLOSED at Queen Street Station
The Back Gate to Queen Street Station on Christian Street will be CLOSED starting Tuesday, March 9, 2010 due to Queen Street Station Phase II construction. Pedestrians will need to use the entrance on Queen Street to enter Queen Street Station.
This closure will be for the duration of the project. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
Due to the back gate being closed RRTA has chosen to move the Route 14 and Route 20 bus stops and modify the Route 13 route to help customers make their transfers to other buses. Click here for more details.

New Ticket Vending Machine
Purchase All Day Passes at RRTA's New Ticket Vending Machine.
Located at the Information Center at Queen Street Station in the vending area lobby. Cash or Credit Cards accepted. Offers convenience for customers who don't want to wait to purchase their All Day Pass at the sales counter.

RRTA Relocates Administrative Offices
RRTA's Administrative Offices currently have relocated to RRTA's Queen Street Station, 225 North Queen Street, Lancaster untli construction is complete at RRTA's Operations Center, 45 Erick Road, Lancaster. All contact information, including phone numbers and mailing addresses remain the same.
